Four days of diving covering the absolute top spots around Pico Island — from local reefs and eagle rays to blue sharks, mako sharks and mobula rays in the open Atlantic.

The 4 days — section by section

Day 1 — Diving Around Pico Island(mandatory)
2 tank dives exploring local reefs and fish. This mandatory check-dive day allows us to verify buoyancy and correct use of the SMB — essential for the offshore dives ahead. Already a great dive with local fish and reef life.

Day 2 — Condor Bank Marine Reserve
2 tank dives at Condor Bank — one of the best areas in the Azores for encounters with blue sharks and mako sharks in open blue water.

Day 3 — Boat Dives Around Pico / Faial
2 tank dives at local boat spots including the Eagle Ray Cave and Baixa Sul.

Day 4 — Princess Alice Bank Marine Reserve
2 tank dives at one of the Atlantic's most famous offshore sites — known for mobula rays and pelagic fish, reached aboard our comfortable power catamaran.

Weather Clause
Please plan to have 7 days available for this package to account for weather risk — and don't forget the mandatory 24-hour break before your flight.

In case of bad weather cancellations you are entitled to a refund. We reserve the right to offer alternative dives if offshore spots cannot be reached, quoted according to our price list. We also reserve the right to use alternative boat types in case of unexpected circumstances.

Qualification Required
Open Water Diver. A mandatory check-dive day (Day 1, 2 tanks) is required for all participants, as offshore dives involve possible current — good buoyancy and correct SMB use are essential safety skills. Operating since 1993, we are proud to say we have never had a single incident diving Pico.
