Snorkeling

Snorkeling around Pico takes you from the volcanic reefs right in front of Madalena to the open Atlantic. Swim with mobula rays at Princess Alice Bank, look for smooth hammerhead sharks around Pico and Faial, or explore the protected waters of the Ilhéus da Madalena.
