Pico Diving Highlights Package

This compact diving package combines the absolute highlights of diving around Pico Island into one short program. It is ideal for divers who do not have much time on the island but still want to experience the most spectacular dive sites in the Azores.

Day 1 — mandatory

The first diving day is mandatory and includes two short dives around Pico Island. These check dives allow us to verify equipment, buoyancy, experience level and general comfort in the water. They also give our team the opportunity to get to know each diver and prepare the following offshore dives in the safest and best possible way.

After this first day, we plan the two major offshore highlights:

1 Day Princess Alice Bank

- 2 dives at one of the most famous offshore dive sites in the Atlantic.

- Princess Alice Bank is located far out in the open ocean and is known for encounters with large schools of mobula rays,       pelagic fish and the unique feeling of diving in the deep blue Atlantic.

1 Day Condor Bank

- 2 dives with blue sharks at Condor Bank.

This protected offshore dive site is one of the best areas in the Azores for encounters with pelagic sharks. The dives take place in open blue water and offer an intense and unforgettable nature experience.

Important Note About Weather and Flexibility

This program includes offshore dive sites in the open Atlantic Ocean. To safely reach Princess Alice Bank and Condor Bank, wind, weather and sea conditions must be suitable.

For this reason, time flexibility is essential. The exact order and operation of the dives can only be decided on site, depending on the current conditions. Safety and the best possible dive conditions always come first.
